I'm Nara (Thi) Ho, a product designer based in Seattle, WA
I'm endlessly curious about people: how they think, what they feel, and why they do what they do. That curiosity is what pulled me into design, and it's what keeps me here.
Before pursuing my master's in Human-Centered Design and Engineering at the University of Washington, I designed an end-to-end consulting experience for college applications and shaped the core chat and calling experience for a social messaging app used by 90 million people. I thrive in disciplined, creative teams that take their work seriously but never lose sight of the people they're building for.
My approach to design
My practice lives at the intersection of research, structure, and craft.
I start with the human, understanding their context, needs, and behavior through research.
I bring structure to make experiences feel effortless and intuitive.
And I bring craft to make sure the final product isn't just functional, but felt visually considered, delightful in the details, even in complex problem spaces.
Off the screen
I'm deep in books, podcasts, and news pieces on human behavior: psychology, sociology, the quiet mechanics of why people do what they do.
